Our Story
Why Co Workwear was created
Co Workwear is owned and operated by us, Sandra and Celin – two sisters with a shared ambition to improve conditions for women in physical trades such as manual labor, service, and warehousing.
We come from the industry ourselves and, through our own experiences as tradeswomen, have felt how difficult it was to find workwear actually designed for women. Progress has been made in recent years, but we still found that comfort, fit, and functionality were lacking. That is why we decided to do something about it ourselves.
Our work pants are the result of several years of intensive development. We have designed, tested, and adjusted again and again – both on our own bodies in physical jobs and in close collaboration with cool test subjects and skilled designers. Only when all the requirements from women in physically demanding trades were met did we have the product that we can 100% stand behind today.
The pants are developed based on a seamless principle, where comfort is paramount. They have no buttons or zippers that can fold the fabric at the stomach or cause irritation during the day. Instead, we have combined the comfort of sportswear with the functionality of workwear and developed a specially designed elastic waistband that both supports the body and handles the weight of tools in a new and more comfortable way.
The holster pockets are designed without zippers so they can more easily detach from the pants if you get caught – and as an extra flexible detail, the leg length can be let down and thus extended as needed.
Our hope is to reach as many women as possible, because we genuinely believe that our pants can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives.
